Like many other college students I struggled to learn how to grocery shop for myself during my first few years away from home. Often times, I would buy too much of one thing and not enough of another which result in food going bad. For this reason, I decided to create a app-based tool for grocery shopping and pantry management. By conducting research I learned that this app could benefit many other age groups since we all struggle with reducing our food waste.
While traveling in Japan I became obsessed with canned coffee but I was disappointed when I got home because I realized that the only place you can get good canned is at asian food stores. Inspired by this, I decided to design my own canned coffee for the American market. Using tools such as Illustrator, inDesign, and Adobe Dimensionn I designed and rendered my own coffee can.
My inspiration for this project came from me thinking about how some shoe designs only look appealing when they are worn on the foot. In order to combat this in a retail setting, I designed a shoe display that presents the shoe in a way that closer resembles how they would look on foot.
For this project I created a poster mailer for a imaginary symphony in Colorado. This was a fun project because it allowed me to play with a grid based layout while adding in some visual art stuff. It was a challenge to fit in all the content while maintaining legibelity.
For this project I was tasked with creating a device that I could 3D print. I choose to create a case for my nintendo switch games that resembles a warp pipe from Mario.
